Sir Kayode Adeluola, SAN has over 36 years experience representing and defending public and private institutions at all levels of the Nigerian court system.

He has extensive experience representing clients across various industries in commercial disputes, regularly advising and representing both national and international clients in complex, high-stakes litigation and arbitration. With a deep understanding of the Nigerian legal system, he has appeared before State High Courts, Federal High Courts, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court.

His expertise extends to international franchise, where he has advised both franchisors and franchisees on business operations and compliance within the Nigerian regulatory framework. Additionally, he provides counsel on probate, estate, and trust administration, as well as family wealth management and transfer.

As part of his commitment to Nigerian society, he handles pro bono cases annually, focusing on the well-being and liberty of young Nigerians.

Before founding Xentia LP, he was a founding partner at Coker & Adeluola, where he advised and successfully represented clients.

Successfully brought a claim against Air France at the Federal High Court for damages on behalf of a client for personal injury suffered in the course of an international flight from Nigeria to Hong

Successfully brought a claim against Ethiopian Airlines for damages on behalf of a passenger who was wrongfully denied boarding.

Advised Zard Petroleum in the course of the sale of its tank farm to Texaco, an oil company.

Successfully represented Hiperdist Limited in the recovery of fees for goods and services provided to a number of Nigerian

Represented Trinity Mills and A&G, the insurance brokers, for the insurance of the multibillion-dollar assets of the NNPC with a view to ensuring the continued coverage of the assets. In the process, he advised UK Solicitors to take over the corresponding litigation in the UK.

Experience

Successfully represented Jagal Ventures Limited in arbitration proceedings based in Dubai, UAE, in respect of special damages due and payable for its role in the acquisition of petroleum exploration rights in Nigeria.

Served as legal adviser to the Methodist Church of Nigeria and advised on a wide range of issues resulting in the resolution of matters without recourse to litigation.

In service to indigent members of the community, he represented several young people incarcerated in jail for various offences, including those that carried punishment.
